Orria is inspired by the space that accommodates it: the Orria reading chair is the fruit of the meeting between the designer, Patrick Jouin, the artisan, the Mobilier national’s Atelier de Recherche et de Creation, and the manufacturer, Alki. This project, instigated by the Bibliothèque nationale de France, was guided by the breadth and depth of focus invested by these different stakeholders.
